I want to access RAW SD card with write-protection. Is it possible? In fact, I have a 16GB SD card that has been strangely write-protected recently. The SD card file system is also changed into “RAW” and it always asks me to format when attempting to access the held data. Moreover, when trying to format this card, the computer just says it is write-protected and cannot be formatted. How can I get rid of the “Write-Protection” and also access the inner data?
OK! As to your card problem, the common order to fix everything is really clear: remove the write protection, rescue SD card data with card data recovery software and format SD card to restore its NTFS or FAT32 file system. What have you done since then? Regards to the card data recovery, you can try to follow my words. Before all your card data is really lost for formatting or other reasons, never hesitate and download a professional RAW SD card data recovery tool to access all useful data at first.
Insert this SD card to computer (use a card Reader to help you, if the original electronic device is not workable.) and Download RAW SD card data recovery software. (This freeware has been tested by many people and always been given highly praised.)
Select recovery options in the main interface
Run and choose a data recovery mode to restore all inaccessible data back. (Four data recovery modes are provided there.)
Select card to search photos off card
Scan this SD card thoroughly.
Wait while scanning lost photos, sometimes it takes about 20 minutes to scan a 32G card.
Tips: if it takes more than 2 hours to scan a 32GB card, you may stop the scanning and wait to see
what's already found. Since the card may contains bad blocks that takes longer time than usual.
Save all restored data on another memory card or drive.
Preview lost photos and save found files. It would generate a folder to contain your lost data.
Please do not save the photo to the card where you lost them. Save them to your PC drive!
* Install this data recovery software on computer, not this SD card.
* Prepare much more copies of everything important on different locations in the future.
